First impression.
Bad attitude, mean look, who do they think they are? Prissy, jerk, cocky, ugh don't like them already. She thinks she's all that, pretty, stuck up, what a bitch.
What we don't know.
That bad attitude, mean look.... something bad just happened, they are focused on their present situation, worries, hurt, and pain. You seeing them this way doesn't even bother them, they don't notice.
Prissy, jerk, cocky....... Still fear underneath, but the determination to move beyond that to strive for more, to be what they want to be regardless of what others think, because they have a goal. There's nothing, absolutely nothing wrong with being focused.
Pretty, stuck up, bitch...... She sees all of her faults everyday she looks in the mirror. The lines, the age, the wrongs done in her life. But its time to put on that game face because no one needs to know what's truly under all the forced smiles. "Walk straight, makeup looks good enough, show pride in yourself," she convinces herself as she finishes getting ready for the world. Career woman, strong on the outside, knows whats got to be done, no screwing around. She's got a goal, a forcefulness that can push through to what needs to be done.....as she crumbles in her own private hell. As long as no one knows.......
Looking at someone else's faults is so much easier than to look at our own. But if we ALL looked at bettering ourselves instead of passing judgement over others, not knowing their situation, their struggles, never in this lifetime being able to truly know what's in that other persons head......we just might have a better planet.
Understanding, compassion......."Be the change you wish to see in the world"-Gandhi
If you can't change yourself for a better world, how the hell do you think you're going to change anyone else??
